The Weight of the World

The Weight of the World is a short documentary film created in The Representation Project’s 2021 Youth Media Academy. Our culture innodates young people daily with messages ascribing value to possessing the idealized “perfect body.” This short documentary film explores the harm of seeking perfection and advocates for self-love and appreciation of all bodies.
