Join Us Online and Nationwide: Bigotry and Violence Have No Home Here

This week the National Park Service officially issued a permit for a white nationalist rally in San Francisco. With a rise in white supremacist and neo-Nazi rallies nationwide, it’s time we come together to declare: bigotry and violence have no home here.

That’s why this Women’s Equality Day – a day commemorating the passage of the 19th Amendment, giving (most) women the right to vote – we are joining in solidarity our local community and encourage you to join yours to counter-protest these rallies. As Martin Luther King Jr said, “we are all caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied into a single garment of destiny.” Now more than ever, we must create a world that is just and equitable for all.

If you’re in the San Francisco, learn more about the 12 counter protests here.
