Thanks to you, we changed the conversation around the 67th Emmy Awards! Viewers from around the world spoke out against sexism on the red carpet and beyond with the hashtag #AskHerMore. Joined by #SmartGirlsAsk, leaders like Katie Couric, Shonda Rhimes, and Hillary Clinton tweeted powerful questions, moving the discussion away from women’s appearance and towards our accomplishments. And that’s not all there was to celebrate. Viola Davis was the first black woman to win the Emmy for best lead actress on a drama series! In her beautiful acceptance speech, she reminded us all that we must continue to push back on a Hollywood that disproportionately disenfranchises women of color:
