A Year After The Women’s March: How the Moment Became a Movement

It’s hard to believe a year ago on January 21, 2017, more than 5 million people over 5 continents joined the Women’s March in the pursuit of equality and justice. As an empowering collective moment, it catalyzed the larger movement. Since then, we’ve had #MeToo and #TimesUp, we’ve called our senators about DACA, voted for local politicians who represent our values, and advocated for equal pay. But there is always more we can do.

This year, we are determined to build on the momentum of the Women’s March and continue to fight systemic inequality for all. That’s why this weekend, we invite you to march with us and with people around the globe. Let’s renew our commitment to fighting for a world that is inclusive and just for all.
