Heather began her career in public relations and strategic communications at Edelman,
the world’s largest independent public relations firm. She has since spent decades
working across the corporate, nonprofit, and startup sectors on campaigns designed to
educate, foster community engagement, and drive cultural change.
Alarmed by the nation’s burgeoning adolescent mental health crisis, Heather currently
works with schools to develop best practices in school-based mental health support.
She is a lifelong advocate for women’s and children’s issues and has served on the
board of directors for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates for foster children) as
well as for Casa Teresa, an organization that provides a loving home and support for
pregnant women in crisis.
Heather lives in Orange County with her husband and three children.
